Position Description
We are looking for an Electronic/ Electrical Engineer who will be reporting to FO & TRN Implementation supervisor.
The employee will be responsible for managing and coordinating telecom implementation activities and support the Network project implementation
process by performing engineering tasks such as Workorder evaluation and assignment, handling the workflow of new service activation, document control, site survey, scheduling other related activities.
Key accountabilities
• Implementation activities, Management / Supervision / Technical evaluation
• Acting as technical adviser on the implementation activity for subcontractors
• Liaising with any subcontractors
• Ensuring that all materials used, and work performed are as per specifications
• Planning the work and efficiently organizing the plan and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines
• Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise
• Tracking and preparing the required reports
Qualifications
• Undergraduate (University/TEI) in Electronic / Electrical Engineering specialized or interested in Telecom networks
• Interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively within crossdepartmental groups and teams
• Excellent Excel/Spreadsheet and presentation skills
• Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
• The ability to effectively communicate both in the English written and spoken word
• Ability to understand & identify process improvement opportunities to strengthen efficiency in business operations
• A strategic and tactical thinking
• An understanding of implementation means, and methods associated with the Telecom networks and site work related to AutoCAD knowledge.
• Driving license will be considered as a plus
