Πρακτική Άσκηση στην Κοινωνική Επιχειρηματικότητα! Ashoka Greece is looking for interns! Applications Deadline: February 7

Ashoka Greece is looking for creative, independent, and passionate interns who can help us catalyze growth and innovation in Greece.

WHAT IS ASHOKA?

Ashoka is the largest network of social entrepreneurs worldwide, with nearly 3,000 Ashoka Fellows in more than 80 countries putting their system changing ideas into practice on a global scale. Founded by Bill Drayton in 1980, Ashoka has provided start-up financing, professional support services, and connections to a global network across the business and social sectors, and a platform for people dedicated to changing the world. Ashoka launched the field of social entrepreneurship and has activated multi-sector partners across the world who increasingly look to entrepreneurial talent and new ideas to solve social problems. Ashoka envisions an “Everyone a Changemaker™ world” – a world that responds quickly and effectively to social challenges, and where each individual has the freedom, confidence and societal support to address any social problem and drive change.

ASHOKA GREECE: KICKSTARTING A SOCIAL CHANGE ECO-SYSTEM IN GREECE

Social innovation represents a compelling model contributing to a better economic and social development path in Greece. We believe society will begin transforming with leading individuals driving change, an environment that allows them to flourish and expand their solutions, and a network of institutions, teams and alliances across the social and private sectors that empower and support citizens and young people to tackle challenges in their communities.
Ashoka began its launch activities January 2014, and continues to build a local and international network of partners. Ashoka and the Robert Bosch Stiftung, together with a consortium of partners, launched THIS WORKS – Ideas and Solutions for Employment and Recovery in Southern Europe, to accelerate social innovation in the field of employment in Greece, Italy and Spain. The Hellenic Initiative is a leading partner in this alliance for Greece.
